General Description

Meat and bone meal is a product obtained from the processing of pork carcasses intended for human consumption. The by-product obtained from deboning is subjected to cooking, during which the product is sterilized and fats are rendered.

 

Use

Meat and bone meal is used in the formulation of animal diets, mainly for: poultry, swine, horses, and pets. It is characterized by its high protein content and linoleic acid. It also provides calcium and phosphorus.
