Tilapia Fish Meal

General Description

High-digestibility fish meal produced from fresh raw materials obtained from nationally farmed tilapia. The main stages of the process are cooking, pressing, centrifuging, and drying or dehydration. During cooking, protein coagulation occurs, releasing the water and oil contained in the raw material. The coagulated product is then separated by pressing; the press cake is dehydrated in indirect steam dryers. The dried material is then ground and stored.

Use

Tilapia fish meal is used in the formulation of animal diets, mainly for aquaculture, pets, pigs, and poultry.
