General Descriptio
Granza is a natural co-product obtained from the stages prior to the conditioning of wheat grains. It is composed mainly of
the outer covering of the grains, small whole grains or
fragments of them, wheat dust, and small seeds.
It may contain, in minimal proportion, grains other than wheat
Use
It is primarily used for animal feed as an important energy ingredient in feed for poultry, pigs, and cattle. However, in cattle it should be used with caution due to the rapid degradation of starch, which can cause ruminal acidosis.
